Hideaway Mountain Lodge will be reopening on May 22, 2020 for Memorial Day Weekend.

Hideaway has always been devoted to providing personal service to each and every guest that we serve. We will still provide that service, but it will be at a little further distance to give you piece of mind. In addition to our high standards of cleanliness, we have added new practices and procedures to ensure your stay will be safe, relaxing and enjoyable.

Hideaway Mountain Lodge will comply will all state and local government mandates with respect to the health and safety of our guests and staff. Our polices may change as new developments occur and we will do our best to keep you informed of any changes.

Our new Normal at Hideaway

  • All staff will follow CDC guidelines for washing hands, sanitizing and disinfecting rooms and common areas, and promote social distancing. Staff will be required to wear masks in the presence of guests and we encourage our guest to do so as well.

  • Occupancy levels will be reduced. To ensure safety, we will be implementing a two-day (48 hour) gap between each guest. We may need to move your room selection to a comparable room or better to accommodate this policy.

  • Pre-Check In forms and payment required before arrival. An email requesting payment and completion of forms will be sent 24 hours before check in.

  • Our homemade cookies will still be available and individually wrapped. Hot chocolate, coffee and teas available at your request.

  • Our delicious breakfast will be now be prepared To Go. A menu for your selections will be provided for you to complete and turn in the night before.

  • Our game room and pool area will be Closed. Opening date TBD.

  • Outside decks are open for your enjoyment of the views and hummingbirds. We ask you to practice social distancing when others are present.

  • We have removed all decorative pillows, throws, extra pillows, extra blankets, wine glasses and literature. Please call or come to the office if you need extra pillows, blankets or wine glasses and we will be happy to provide those for you.

  • No in room housekeeping service, so no one will be entering your room during your stay. If you require fresh towels, amenities or trash removal please call or come to the office to request.

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available and a complimentary bottle will be left in your room for your use.

  • We ask all quests who are exhibiting any signs of illness, or could be ill due to exposure to the virus within the last two weeks, stay home and recover under the guidance and care of a doctor. We have changed our cancellation policy to 72-hours to give you more flexibility.
