Reservation Policy

A deposit of one-night's rental is required to reserve your room. Payment of any remaining balance will be due at time of check-in. Daily rates do not include applicable state and county taxes or charges for any other services.

Check-in 3:00 -9:00 p.m. (office closes at 9:00)


Our office closes at 9:00 p.m., so if you will be arriving after this time please contact us in advance. We are a small lodge and do not run a front desk, so we ask for you to please plan your travel arrangements accordingly.

Check-out 11:00 a.m.

Cancellation Policy

In the unlikely event that you must cancel your reservations prior to 14 of your booked arrival date, we will refund the deposit. If you cancel with-in 14 days of your booked arrival, you will be expected to pay for the full booking. 

Covid-19 Exception: If a guest cancels due to a state/county stay at home mandate or the closure of Winter Park Resort that is in effect for the time of their stay a refund will be issue. 


We are not able to give credit for late arrivals, early departures, or missed meals. No shows and early departures will be charged the contracted nightly rate for the entire length of stay. We would recommend cancellation insurance for all guest, especially if there are uncertainty about any part of your travel itinerary.

100% Smoke Free Drug Free Policy

For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture we do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, hookahs, incense, cigars, candle burning, the use or diffusing of patchouli oil or other strong-smelling plant-based essential oils or synthetic products in our facility.  
A Designated Smoking Area is provided outside and away from the building.  Marijuana is prohibited at all times.  
If violated a $250 fee will be incurred.

No Pets

Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Pool, Hot tub, and Sauna

The pool is only for the use of guests of the Hideaway Mountain Lodge. The pool opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. After 9 p.m. is quiet time in the common areas. A list of pool rules is posted in pool room.


Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who remains in the pool room at all times. We may close the pool early or open it late depending on our guests' needs.


Like the pool, the hot tub and sauna are only for the use of guests of the Hideaway Mountain Lodge. Neither the Hot Tub nor the Sauna is suitable for young children.


The Sauna is a dry sauna, please do not pour water on the heating unit to create steam as it damages the system.
