Check-Out:  11:00 AM

Lobby Hours:  7:00 AM - 9:00 PM

We are a small family-run lodge and do not operate a 24 hours front desk. We do not accept reservations in which you plan to arrive after 9:00 PM. We kindly ask that you please plan your travel arrangements accordingly.

If you would like an early check-in (12:00 pm) or a late check-out (2:00 pm), please call to inquire if your room would be available.

Deposit/ Cancellation Policy:

A deposit of one night's rental rate is required at the time of booking. Balance is due at the time of check-in.

If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, a cancellation notice is required. If you cancel 7 days in advance of your arrival date, you will be refunded your deposit minus a $25.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 6 days to 25 hours prior to your arrival date, you will forfeit your deposit made at time of booking. Cancellations within 24 hours prior to arrival date or no-shows will be charged the total cost of your reservations.

There is no refund for early check-outs.

Third-Party Bookings:  If you booked your accommodations on a third-party site (i.e. Booking.com, Priceline, etc.) and need to cancel or modify a reservation, you must contact the third-party provider directly. Hideaway cannot modify or cancel your reservation. Please refer to the contact details provided from your third party booking agent in your reservation confirmation.

We would recommend you purchase cancellation insurance if you are uncertain about your travel plans. A link to third-party travel insurance is provided here for your benefit: Find the Right Travel Insurance. We do not manage any part of or benefit from the travel insurance. This would be between you and the travel insurance company.

Room Occupancy Policy:

Each room has a maximum occupancy set. Please check the room you are booking for maximum occupancy.  An additional charge of $35.00 per person per day will be accessed if you exceed maximum room occupancy.

No Smoking/ No Drug Policy

Smoking, of any kind, is prohibited in any of the buildings or balconies and within 15 feet of any building. A designated smoking area is provided next to the water well house on the second level. A $250.00 cleaning will be charged if any guest violates this policy.

Fireplace Policy

Some of our rooms have wood-burning fireplaces for your enjoyment during the winter months. If you do wish to have a room with a wood-burning fireplace, it is best to call us to help with your booking. Sorry, but we do not allow the use of wood-burning fireplaces during the summer months (May to Oct) due to extreme Colorado fire danger.

Fireplace Safety information is in each room. You are responsible for reading and following the safety requirements. Fireplaces are only to be operated by an adult. Wood will be provided for your use. Under no circumstance should anyone try to remove burning wood or attempt to clean the fireplace after use.

No Pet Policy

We do not allow pets. Violators will be asked to leave, and they will be charged a $250.00 cleaning fee.

Pool, Hot and Dry Sauna

Hours 9am -9pm

The pool, hot tub, and sauna are for the use of registered guests of Hideaway Mountain Lodge only.  Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pool towels are provided in the pool room. Please do not use room towels in the pool area. If you are going to the hot springs, let us know and we will provide towels for that purpose.

Housekeeping

We will do light housekeeping during your stay (remove the trash, restock toiletries and towels). For a stay over 7 days, we will do a linen change and cleaning mid-way through your stay.

Please help us reduce energy and water use by reusing towels. If you would like fresh towels, please leave dirty towels on the floor or in the bathtub/shower and we will replace them.

Important Weather Considerations:

You are coming to the mountains and you will have to travel over mountain passes to get to us. Please be aware that the Colorado mountains require proper vehicles and tires to safely navigate in winter conditions. It is especially important to follow Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) vehicle requirements and passenger vehicle traction laws for the entry into the mountains. CDOT also provides active online updates on road conditions. Our lodge is in a rural setting so you will be driving for a short distance on a gravel or snow-packed road. During the winter season, please use caution, slow down and check the weather forecast. The state of Colorado does a great job of making sure the roads are passable.

Guest Accommodation Agreement

Please be aware that Hideaway Mountain Lodge has taken reasonable steps and precautions to assure your safety while staying with us. In using our property, you do so at your own risk. You will be asked to sign a release of liability upon check-in and agree to all the above policies.
