We fell in love with the Colorado mountains long ago.​

We made Colorado our home in 2016 by acquiring the property we now call Hideaway Mountain Lodge. A dream of having our own little resort property had been stuck in our minds since our first-year anniversary trip to Colorado many years ago. As I tell our guests now, we had a mid-life crisis and bought a B&B. We reached a time in our lives were our kids were raised, we had our careers, and now had the opportunity to follow our dream.

We traveled around Colorado for a year and found the perfect place that had all the attributes we were searching for. A place with the best of all the seasons, surrounded by mountains, skiing nearby, many hiking trails to try, and a small-town feel. This place needed us as much as we needed it, and with a lot of hard work and love, we were able to bring it back to life. We so enjoy meeting all the guests that pass through our doors each year.
